Buster
Buster is a wonderful six-year-old chinchilla. He is a white mosaic and is just the cutest little marshmallow! Buster came to us from a very caring home. As such, he is friendly and socialized. He has never been housed with other chinchillas, but is perfectly happy to "ham it up" with humans. Buster is in perfect health and is ready for an attentive and loving forever home.
Chuma & Skylar
The pair are full grown adults - we guess around seven years old. They came to us from a rescue that was closing its doors. Chuma has a few dental problems, which need to be addressed once every three months or so. If you are interested in adopting, please keep in mind that you will have to have a good vet on hand that is experienced with chinchillas as Chuma will have to make periodic visits. Chuma and Skylar are a wonderful and gentle pair of chinchillas. They are friendly and fun loving, and are sure to bring smiles and joy into your home.
Alice
If you think that this face looks tough, you're right! Alice came to us along with her mate, Carlos. The pair was discovered in a birdcage on the side of the road in Queens, New York. Luckily, a kindhearted policeman rescued them and called us. The pair was so traumatized when they reached us-- we thought it would be difficult to socialize them. Alice was separated from her mate, Carlos and gave birth to their son, J.D. Although she still needs a lot of TCL, Alice is no longer the brat she was when she first arrived. She will do very nicely with a loving family with kind hands.
Jack
Jack is a sweet and vivacious 15-year-old chinchilla. Until Christmas day, 2009, Jack had been housed with his cage-mate, Speedy. Sadly, Speedy fell ill and passed away on 02/06/10. Jack is doing quite well on his own and is looking for a nice family who will make sure to dote on him appropriately. Jack is a bit of a loaner but is a very kind-hearted old little man. He has no medical problems and is looking for a good home with an experienced chinchilla "parent." Due to his age, we consider Jack special needs. Lee
ADOPTION PENDING
A very spirited and energetic boy, it is actually difficult to keep Lee in his cage! Lee was surrendered to us by a family with allergies. He is estimated to be 7-8 years of age and is in perfect health. He is very social and ready for a nice home. Do you need a little Lee in your life?
