Till & Sig

Till and Sig are a father, son pair.  Till and his mate, Heidi were surrendered over to us from a shelter in New Jersey.  Unfortunately, their owner was dying of cancer.  The shelter called us and upon their arrival at Monty's Place we noticed that Heidi was pregnant...VERY pregnant!  She gave birth to three kits just a few weeks later.  Sadly, one kit passed away, but her son, Sig and her daughter, Inge were happy and healthy.  Once weened, Sig went on to live with his father and Inge went on to live with her mother. 

Till and Sig are a very sweet pair of male chinchillas.  They are both very mild mannered and would probably get on well with other male chinchillas.  Sig is only about four months old now and still like a kit in many ways.  These little ones are sure to bring joy into anyone's life.  Please contact us if you are interested in these sweet boys.

Abagail, Noele, & Rebekkah

Abagail, Noele, and Rebekkah are a bonded trio of females-- that is to say that they all must go to the same home and not be seperated.

Abagail came into the rescue along with her mate Liam. Abagail was pregnant and gave birth to Noele and Rebekkah while here in the rescue! We've known these little girls since they were born and they are just the sweetest little fatties, please feel free to email us for more pictures of these girls.

Silva

Perhaps you have seen this little chin on our adoptions page with her daughter, Swoosh. Silva, in fact, was a member of a bonded trio. Unfortunately, the trio had to be slowly split up due to internal fighting. Both of Silva's daughters have been adopted and have gone to good homes, little Silva is the only one left.

Since being on her own Silva has become much more social. When she was living with her daughters, she was very antisocial and did not like being held. Now, when we open the door to her house, she is excited to jump on out onto our hands. Silva is a wonderful girl who deserves a good, loving home. Silva is 9 years old.

Jack & Speedy

If you've visited the Monty's Place website before you may have noticed this pair on our 'Successful Adoptions' page. Unfortunately, Jack and Speedy's new mommy had to relocate and was unable to take Jack and Speedy along. Needless to say, we were more than happy to take these little guys back into the rescue.

Jack and Speedy are 13 years old and a considered special needs chinchillas. If they are to be adopted out we NEED to know that their new home will be a secure and unchanging one. If you think these little guys are right for you, please let us know. They are just the sweetest little ones and deserve a real doting home to spend the rest of their days.
